Teacher-Multiple Positions Computer Science Teacher Gifted & Talented Elementary School Counselor Music Arts Technology INTERNAL TRANSFER The Internal Transfer process allows current DuBois employees who meet the guidelines outlined below, to accept a new position at another campus for the upcoming school year. TIMELINE Eligible employees must apply via the Internal Transfer Request Form. Employees who do not apply will not be eligible to participate in the transfer process. The deadline to submit the Internal Transfer Request is by Friday, May 11, 2018. 11:59 p.m. The effective date for approved transfers will be July 1, 2018. ELEGIBILITY
To be eligible for a transfer, all employees must meet the following criteria:
- Must meet minimum qualifications for the requested position(s)
- Must not have an unsatisfactory annual performance rating
- Must have satisfactory attendance (95% or higher)
- Teacher must meet the above criteria AND
- Must hold a valid Tennessee Teacher Certificate in the requested subject-area vacancy
- Must not be on a growth or improvement plan g on the most current TEI evaluation
- Must not be identified for non-reelect or non-renewal at the end of the current school year due to performance or licensure
Human Resources will send email notifications of transfer approvals/denials. These notifications will be sent to the employee, the current and receiving principals, and the Director of Operations. Transfers will not be final until an approval email notification has been sent from Human Resources. All notifications will be completed by May 31, 2018.

If an applicant meets the qualifications for a position and is selected to advance in the process, the applicant will be notified via e-mail. The first step will be to participate in a telephone interview. After the telephone interview, the applicant will be notified of his/her status via e-mail. The second step will be the in-person interview, where the applicant will be expected to demonstrate expertise in the area. After this interview, the applicant will be informed by official mail of his/her status.
